Mississauga Master Gardeners (MMG) & Etobicoke Master Gardeners (EMG) invite you to join the Children’s Garden for an opportunity to get your hands dirty while enjoying hands on gardening experience including learning how to care for different plants. Learn about the Good Bugs & Bad Bugs, and Pollinators in the garden, how to attract them, and make a pine-cone bird feeder. Create your own grass head and how to care for it, and other fun and creative activities. Children will have a great time discovering the joys of gardening in this fun and educational gardening experience.

Hope all enjoyed visiting us at the Festival WHAT IS THE LONG BRANCH TREE FEST 2023 The Long Branch Neighbourhood Association (LBNA) is organizing this Festival. It will be a fun, family friendly, inclusive educational event, and a celebration of trees & nature. Some events happening are native tree seed planting, children’s activities, interactive booths that highlight the importance of trees, our environment and the importance of biodiversity, tree identification nature walk, live music, a “marketplace” area for vendors and lots more. Etobicoke Master Gardeners exhibit will include; Advice Clinic volunteers available to answer gardening questions, Pruning demo with focus on plants to be pruned in the autumn, Laminated information sheets that we would encourage attendees to take pictures of (no handouts). |
